Amanda helped her cheer team win second place twice in competition and was captain of the team her senior year.
From 2003-2005, Amanda worked at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center as a tech aid developing x-ray films. From 2005-2006, she worked as a receptionist at CNY Cardiology. In 2006, Amanda started working for her mother's business, DTS Transcription Services, learning medical transcription. She helped run the business and cared for her mother during her battle with cancer. While working for her mother she also took odd jobs at Dunkin Donuts and The Marquee Cinema to make ends meet. Amanda attended MVCC from 2013-2016, where she was accepted into the Radiology program and graduated with an Associates Degree in Applied Science. She received her license to become a Registered Radiologic Technologist. She became Amanda Bronga R.T.. Amanda then accepted a position with MVHS at St. Elizabeth's, where she worked until 2022 when she was diagnosed with stage 4 small bowel cancer. During her time there she was promoted to Clinical Coordinator to incoming students. She loved teaching and watching the students grow. She also further developed her skills in the Angio Dept. When MVHS upgraded to EPIC for its records, she was chosen to learn the ins and outs and to teach her peers how to navigate the new system smoothly. Teaching others, learning from others and helping others. This beautiful soul loved her career. Amanda had many loves and hobbies, from music to dancing, arts and crafts, and skydiving. She loved the NYS Fair, the ocean, (specifically, Maine), photography, the stars and moon, waterfalls, long drives listening to good music, fall and the leaves changing, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and decorating for the holidays. She loved NYC and its shopping. Amanda fell in love with Anthony at a young age, but it wasn't until 2003, at age 19, that they reconnected and began their journey together. In 2005 they welcomed their first child, Anthony Joseph Bronga Jr., a premmie, born 10 weeks early. He was her best bud. She loved him more than life itself and dedicated herself to give him the best life possible. In 2007, Amanda and Anthony were engaged. In 2008 they welcomed their second child, a daughter, Alyss Kay. Amy was so happy to have a little girl. Someone to dress up, shop with and become best friends. Her family was complete. In 2010, Amanda and Anthony were married at the Stanley Theatre. She adored that place. She had all she ever wanted. The All -American Family. A handsome, loving husband, a son born first, and daughter born second. All she needed was a dog, a house, and a picket fence. On May 13, 2013 (her birthday), Jax was born. We brought him home in August after a 2 ½ hour drive and he was her dog. After years of hard work and dedication, Amy and Anthony purchased their first home. She was so proud. She finally had a home for her family, a career she loved, two very intelligent and kind children, a loving husband and a houseful of animals. Amanda leaves behind her beloved husband, Anthony Joseph Bronga; her cherished son, Anthony Joseph Bronga Jr., and her cherished daughter, Alyss Kay Bronga, whom she loved beyond measure.
