Ann (Roefaro) Diodato

Mrs. Ann E. (Roefaro) Diodato, age 90, passed away on Monday August 29, 2016 in Brookville Florida where she had been a resident.

She was born on March 2, 1926, in Utica, a daughter of the late Louis and Marie Antoinette S'doia Roefaro and was educated in local schools.

On September 20, 1947, she was joined in marriage to Victor J. Diodato in St. Anthony of Padua Church, a blessed union of 55 years until his passing August 26, 2002.

Ann was employed with Univac Corp. and also Par Micro Systems, until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony/St. Agnes Church, and a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Knights of St. John #385.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Victor and Betty Diodato of GA; two daughters, Marie Diodato Lightbody, of FL and Doreen Diodato and John Schilling of FL;; her beloved grandchildren, Mark and Sarah Diodato, Roseann and Jason Eubanks, Rusty Lightbody and Denise Lightbody; her great-grandchildren, Amanda and Josephine Diodato and Aiden Eubanks; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Renato and Carol Roefaro, Geno and Mary Roefaro, and Frank and Jean Roefaro, all of Utica; her in-laws, Mary Lewis, of Clinton, Cay Kenneally of Rome, NY, Yolanda and John Rozyla and Adam Diodato all of Utica; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Mario (Elvera) Roefaro.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday September 12, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. in St. Anthony/St. Agnes Church. Private interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the conclusion of mass in church.
