Miss Anna Morelli, age 100, of Utica, passed away on Thursday September 20, 2018 at the Presbyterian Home with the love and support of her family.
She was born in Utica, NY on January 25, 1918 a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Gelfuso Morelli and was educated in local schools. Anna was employed with the Mele Manufacturing Co. for many years, until her retirement. She was a parishioner of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church.
She was predeceased by her sisters Grace Morelli and Mary Mastrilli and her brothers Benjamin Morelli and wife Helen, Dominick Morelli and wife Lillian, John Morelli and wife Victoria and nephew John (Dicky) Morelli.
Surviving are her loving nieces Janet Cerminaro and husband Frank Sr., of FL., Elizabeth Morelli of Utica, Beverly Brady and husband James of FL., and Natalie McGraw and husband Bud of SC.; great nephews and great nieces Frank D. Cerminaro, Jr. of TX, David M. Cerminaro of TX, Deborah Eldridge and son Gabriel of FL., Michelle Flis and husband Paul and their children Rachel and Jacob of FL. and David Brady and wife Brenda and their children of VA.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the family plot in Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to extend a sincere Thank You to the staff of the Maple Unit at the Presbyterian Home, especially Alisha and Becky for their love and care given to Anna.
