Antoinette “Ann” DeSantis age 92, of Utica, passed away peacefully on Friday February 17, 2023, in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Stamford, CT. on March 10, 1930, a daughter of the late John and Rose Donato Zenobio. On February 16, 1952, she was married to Michael A. DeSantis in St. Anthony of Padua Church, a blessed union of 50 years until his passing in 2002.
Antoinette was employed for many years in clothing sales, most notably Pickers Fashions. She retired several years ago.
Ann was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She was selfless, kindhearted, and generous to a fault. She loved to cook and was the happiest when her kitchen table was filled with family, friends and food. Ann always kept an impeccable home and everything had to be in its place. She had a keen sense of humor even in the worst of times. Ann always gave the best advice, and was never judge-mental. Truly the matriarch of her family, she will be forever missed, but never forgotten.
She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law Christine and Michael Juliano of Frankfort, and Deborah and Anthony Robertelli, Jr. of New Hartford; her two sons Michael J. DeSantis and David R. DeSantis who was a devoted caregiver to his Mom.; her beloved grandchildren Michael (Martha) Juliano, Anthony (Ashley) Juliano, Amy Juliano and Nicholas Juliano, Michael K. DeSantis and Kayla (Joe) Knauth; her cherished great grandchildren Emily, Christian, Bella, Alexa and Anthony Juliano; one sister-in-law Elaine Zenobio, and several nieces and nephews especially Marilyn Loverro who was always at Antoinette’s side for whatever she needed. Her love and devotion to her Aunt Ann, was much appreciated.
She was predeceased by her sister Mary (Edward) Brower, two brothers Pat (MaryLou) Zenobio and Anthony Zenobio; and her dear family friend Anthony Robertelli, Sr.
We already miss you Mom, and our memories are wonderful, "Because of you".
