Beth Ann Boshart

Beth Ann Boshart, RN, age 56, of Deerfield, passed away on Friday March 10, 2017 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY with her beloved family by her side.

She was born in New Hartford, NY on September 13, 1960 a daughter of Peggy (Taylor) Boshart and the late Floyd C. Boshart, Jr. and was educated locally. She graduated from MVCC and SUNY IT with a BSN Degree in Nursing/Business Management. Beth was employed as an RN with all three area Hospitals and was most recently employed as the Director of Nursing at Faxton- St. Luke's Healthcare until her retirement, due to illness. Beth was well respected in the medical profession for her knowledge and kindness. Beth received an LVAD ( Left Ventricular Assist Device) on June 21, 2012 and worked tirelessly since that time to raise LVAD awareness.

A loving and devoted daughter, mother and sister, she is survived by her mother Peggy Boshart; two beloved sons Miles Boshart-Lowe and Forrest Boshart-Lowe and their father Greg Lowe all of Utica; two sisters and a brother-in-law Stacey Perez of FL. and Nicole and Rodney Kyle of Watertown; her nephew Josh Perez and several relatives and many friends. She was predeceased by her father Floyd and her brother-in-law Charles A. Perez.

Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 4-7 pm at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. Utica. Funeral services will commence at the conclusion of visitation at 7:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Anita Mohr of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Donations can be made to the Harbor House of Rochester, 89 Rossiter Rd. Rochester, NY 14620 in memory of Beth.
