Darlene Maikranz

Darlene Maikranz age 64, of Utica, passed away on Wednesday March 2, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital with the love and support of her family.

She was born in Utica, on November 3, 1957, a daughter of the late Donald and June Woolheater Maikranz and was a 1975 graduate of UFA High School.

Darlene’s main focus in her life was her family and friends. She was always there for anyone in need. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Surviving are her daughter Tanyalyn Maikranz; three beloved grandchildren Viviana, Bentley and Aaron Smith, Jr.; three sisters Cynthia and husband Lyn Smith, Lorrie Maikranz and Wendy and husband Ron Knox; two brothers Cary and wife Carol Maikranz and Kevin Maikranz; and several nieces, nephews and dear friends Kathy and Kim Lachevet, Janet Scalzo and Christy Pasho; She was predeceased by her son Shane Quakenbush and two brothers Donald Jr. and Gordon Maikranz.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:30 – 5:30 pm at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. Funeral service prayers will commence at the conclusion of visitation at 5:30 pm in the funeral home.
