David Amir Rahman

On November 13, 2014, David Amir Rahman left this world to ascend into the heavens. We lost an iridescent star. Born in Utica, NY on February 3, 1991 to Alan and Donna Rahman. David is survived by his father Alan Abdul Rahman, mother Donna M. Rahman, older brother Alan M. Rahman, and older sister Nicole M. Rahman. David was a son, grandson, nephew, cousin, co-worker and classmate to a large group of family and friends who love him dearly. He will be forever imprinted in our minds and in our hearts when we think of his smile, his sweet and gentle nature, his creative mind and the vastness of his caring heart.

Growing up, David was good at such a variety of things. He was fearless in the pursuit of what he wanted to learn and achieve. His raucous and hilarious laughter and his kindness will resound through the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him

David was a thoughtful person and an asset to his community. He was a champion, who had nothing but the utmost hope and desire to do better for himself, even in the face of adversity. The Rahman family would like to thank friends and family for the outpouring of help and condolences.

David's funeral service and Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Calling hours are 10:00 a.m until 12:00 Noon, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home, 1122 Culver Avenue, Utica, NY 13501.
