Dr. David John Vomer, Pharm.D age 30, of Marcy, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday November 8, 2015 while doing what he loved best, "Hunting" in the Adirondacks.

He was born in New Hartford, New York on August 9, 1985 a son of David J. Vomer and Vicki Inman Vomer and was educated in local schools, having graduated from Whitesboro High School. He was also a graduate of MVCC and the Albany College of Pharmacy.

David was a pharmacist and was employed by the Holland Patent Pharmacy and Randall's Pharmacy of New Hartford. David loved the outdoors and being at his camp at White Lake where he was an avid hunter, fisherman and boater. He found great solace from the outdoors. He was a member of the Kappa Pharmaceutical Fraternity. He was a loving son, brother, grandson and nephew who will forever live in the hearts of his beloved family.

Surviving are his beloved parents David and Vicki Vomer; his beloved brother Christopher Vomer; his beloved sister Marissa Vomer; his paternal grandmother Josephine Vomer and aunt Denise "TT" Houseman, who had a very special bond with David; his maternal great-grandmother Genevieve Gigliotti; his aunt and uncle Christine (Jackie) and Ralph Faga of Utica; his special aunts and uncles Lisa and Donny Hughes and Jodi and Nick LaBella; his Godson Christopher Marsh and many dear childhood and lifelong friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Marylyn Bohn and his paternal grandfather John Vomer.

There will be no public visitation.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 2:00 pm in Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church. The family will receive visitors at the conclusion of mass in church.
