Eleanor Partipelo

Mrs. Eleanor (Malachowski) Partipelo, age 82, of Utica passed away on Thursday November 7, 2013 at St. Lukes Hospital Center, with her beloved family by her side.

She was born in Utica on March 2, 1931 a daughter of the late Zygmund and Frances Roback Malachowski and was educated in local schools. On April 8, 1953 she was married to Angelo Partipelo (UPD), a blessed union of 48 years, until his passing on September 21, 2001.

Eleanor was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother whose life centered around her family. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Surviving are her beloved daughter and son-in-law Doreen and Dennis Fiorentino of Frankfort; her beloved son and daughter-in-law Angelo Jr. and Donna Partipelo of Utica; her cherished grandchildren Lisa and Craig Newell, Dominick and Daniel Fiorentino, Carla and Nick D'Angelo, Christina and Mario Roefaro and Angelo "AJ" Partipelo; two beloved great-grandchildren Chase and Carina Newell; two sisters Irene Talerico and Betty Comito; one brother and sister-in-law Ray and Shirley Malachowski; in-laws Frank DiDominick and Anna and Ron Smith; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister Jane Mazur and three brothers Walter, Eddie and Joe Malachowski.

Funeral services were held privately at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Mark Kaminski officiating. Private burial will be in St.AgnesCemetery.
