Faith M. Turczyn age 56, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Monday September 23, 2024, at her home with the love of her cherished animals by her side.
She was born in Utica on August 6, 1968, a daughter of William “Bill” Turczyn and the late Patricia Arcuri Turczyn and was a graduate of TR Proctor High School. Faith continued her education and graduated with an associate’s degree from Onondaga Community College.
Faith lived life on her own terms unapologetically true to herself. She was known for her deep love and compassion for all animals, dedicating much of her life to their care. She inherited her mother’s love of German Shepards, most recently having Mia & Mystery by her side. Her home was always filled with plenty of tail wags and purrs, a testament to the love and care she bestowed upon them.
Surviving is her father, Bill; her sister and brother-in-law Mary Beth and Erik Hyde of Westmoreland; two brothers and sisters-in-law Vincent and Karen Turczyn of Whitesboro and William and Brandi Turczyn of Clinton; her cherished nieces and nephews Daniella and husband Brady, Sean, Angeline, Davina, William and Chloe; her dear friend Sharon Hayes and family and several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and cherished pets. She also leaves her special friend and neighbor Maria.
She was predeceased by her mother Patricia Turczyn in 2023 and her grandmother Mary Arcuri in 2005, with whom Faith shared a special bond with.
She will forever be remembered for her unwavering love of animals, her family and friends.
