Frances M. Longo

Miss Frances M. Longo, age 87, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday August 18, 2016 at her home.

She was born on February 8, 1929 in Utica, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Mamie Mangano Longo. Educated locally, she was a 1948 graduate of T.R. Proctor High School.

Frances was employed for over 40 years with the A & P Market until her retirement.

Surviving are her loving sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Ronald Mitchell of North Carolina; her cherished niece MaryAnn Mitchell and cherished nephew Ronald J. (Gulnara) Mitchell; her great nieces Aliya and Liliya Mitchell and many dear cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church. The family will receive visitors at the conclusion of mass in church. Private interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.

The family would like to extend many thanks to cousins Richard (Dick) Chancia and Carl Sinisgalli for their care giving.
