Miss Grace Morelli, age 91, of Utica, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Presbyterian Home, with her loving family by her side.
She was born on August 21, 1921, in Utica, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Gelfuso Morelli, and was educated in local schools.
Grace was employed for 37 years as an Assembler at General Electric until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Mary of Mt.CarmelChurch, and a member of the Sons of Italy.
Surviving are one sister, Anna Morelli of Utica; one brother and sister-in-law, Dominick and Lillian Morelli of FL; her sister-in-law, Helen Morelli of Utica; nieces, Janet Cerminaro and husband Frank of FL, Elizabeth Morelli of Utica, Natalie McGraw and husband Bud of SC, and Beverly Brady and husband Jim of FL; great nephews, Frank and David Cerminaro of TX, David Brady and his family of VA; great nieces, Deborah Eldridge and son Gabriel of FL, and Michelle Flis and family of FL; She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Mastrilli; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Benjamin Morelli and John and Victoria Morelli, and her nephew, John (Dicky) Morelli.
Her funeral will be on Thursday at 11:45 a.m. from The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home, Inc. 1122 Culver Ave., and at 12:30 p.m. in Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church. Private interment will be in CalvaryCemetery.
Visiting hours will be held prior to funeral services on Thursday morning from 10:00 am to 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
