Mrs. Jane R. (Nole) Millo age 98, passed away peacefully on Friday February 26, 2016 with the love and support of her family.

She was born in Utica on April 12, 1917 a daughter of the late John and Carmella Iodice Nole and was educated in local schools. In 1946 she was united in marriage to Sebastian "Stubby" Millo in St. Agnes Church, a blessed union of 53 years until his passing in 1999.

Jane was a self-employed beautician by trade having been associated with the Elite Beauty Salon and the Mohawk Beauty Lounge for many years, until her retirement.

Jane was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose life centered around her family. She will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.

Surviving are two beloved daughters and a son-in-law, Linda Millo of Utica and Lucille and William (Bill) Soldato of Deerfield ; her beloved grandchildren Tennille and Shannan Knoop of Utica, Natalie and Sam Sweeney of Ithaca, Steven Soldato and Samantha Montanaro of Utica and Maria and Michael Spohrer of VA.; her cherished great-grandchildren Sebastian, Lennon and Hudson Knoop, Adrianna and Anthony Soldato, Alex Montanaro, Evelyn and Delilah Spohrer and Gemma Sweeney and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased her great grandson Joseph Sweeney; two brothers and sisters-in-law Alphonse and Antoinette Nole, Nicholas and Felicia Nole; two sisters and brothers-in-law Margaret and Carmen Talerico and Josephine and Anthony Mascercola; her in-laws Mary and Albert Raimondo, Grace Millo, Lucy and Leonard Nicotera and Sadie and Anthony Scarafile.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 11:00 am until 12: 00 noon at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 pm in Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church. Private interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
