John A. "Johnny Brown" Trumpio

June 22, 1916 — April 16, 2015

Mr. John A. "Johnny Brown" Trumpio age 98, of Utica, passed away on Thursday April 16, 2015 in West Winfield, NY.

He was born on June 22, 1916, in Utica, a son of the late Joseph and Rachel Pinchetori Trumpio. After graduating high school, John proudly served his country during WWII in the US Air Corps as a Chief Mechanic assigned to B-25's in Okinawa.

John was a self-employed painter for many years, retiring several years ago. He was a member of the Fort Schuyler Post #229.

He was predeceased by two sisters Philomena M. Trumpio and Margaret Saccoia and one brother Frank P. Trumpio.

Surviving are a sister-in-law, Helen Trumpio of PA and nephew Joseph Trumpio of CA. He also leaves his dear friends and caretakers Kathy and Ron Elmer of West Winfield.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in the family plot in St.AgnesCemetery.
