Jose Fuentes

UTICA- Jose Fuentes, age 78, of Utica, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on May 26, 1944, a son of the late Tranquilino and Juanita Rivera Fuentes. Jose came to the US several years ago.

He is survived by his three daughters, Connie Fuentes (David Vargas) and her children Shana, Khadija, Justice and Kayla; Juanita Fuentes and Sonia Centeno and their children; two sons, George Moran and Gino Ortiz and their children; sisters, Lee (Joseph) Ruffule and Gloria (Pete) Molina and a brother, Ernest (Carmen) Fuentes; and many nieces and nephews. Jose was predeceased by his son, Carlos Fuentes, his sister Aida Centolella and his brother, Edwin Fuentes.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on FRIDAY FROM 4:00 to 6:00 PM at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home 1122 Culver Ave. Utica, NY.
