Joseph Durse

Mr. Joseph Durse age 73, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday February 6, 2022.

He was born in Utica on October 16, 1948, a son of the late Carmello “Kelly” and Petrina DeFazio Durse and was a graduate of TR Proctor High School.

Joe was employed for several years with Spano’s Bakery Co. and subsequently with Salvatore’s Bakery, until his retirement. He was a devout NY Yankee Fan.

Surviving are his wife Maryann Montana-Durse; his twin brother and sister-in-law Ernest and Maureen Durse of Utica; one son Joseph Durse and one daughter Adana Durse and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian of Burial on Saturday at 12:30 pm in St. Anthony/St. Agnes Church, Utica. Face masks are required for attending church services. In memory of Joe, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in his memory.
