Mr. Joseph P. Trevisani age 60 of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday April 12, 2016.

He was born in Utica on August 24, 1955, son of Anna DeBernardis Trevisani and the late Frank A. Trevisani. Joe was a graduate of T.R. Proctor High School and Utica College of Syracuse University, where he earned his Accounting Degree. On January 2, 1981 he was married to Shelley Hyde in Massena, NY a blessed union of 35 years. Joe was employed in management with Price Chopper for several years. He also enjoyed giving others financial advice and preparing taxes as his second profession. When Joe wasn't working, he could be found at the mall with his wife, having a "passionate" conversation around a kitchen table, cooking sauce and other Italian favorites for the family, picking up coffee on the way to... ; going to sporting events with his children, and rough housing with his grandkids.

Surviving are his beloved wife Shelley, his mother Anna; daughter and son-in-law Marie and Henry Roberts; sons and daughters-in-law Joseph D. and Colleen Trevisani and Andrew and Kristin Trevisani; his beloved grandchildren Isabella Roberts, Joseph A. and Vincent P. Trevisani; one brother and sister-in-law Frank and Sandra Trevisani; sisters and brothers-in-law Angela and Richard Cardarelli, Vivien Hyde of VA. and Anna and Michael Labella; his mother-in-law Audrey Hyde and several other family members. He was predeceased by his father Frank A. Trevisani, one brother Mark Trevisani and his father-in-law Gary Hyde.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday April 23, 2016 at 10:00 am in St. Marks Church. N. Utica. The family will greet visitors at the conclusion of mass in church. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the food bank or St. Jude's Children Hospital.
