Larry Basquette

Larry E. Basquette age 86, formerly of Canastota, passed away on Thursday May 9, 2024, at the Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Utica, with the love of his family in his heart. 
He was born in Gouverneur, NY on Marh 15, 1938, a son of the late Flonesome Clark and stepfather Carlton King who raised Larry as his own son.
Larry was a graduate of Cornell College with a degree in Hotel Management. He was employed in the Hotel/Restaurant Industry for many years, most notably at the Yates Hotel and Restaurant in Syracuse, NY until his retirement.
Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law Richard and kate DeSantis of VA; his sister Deborah Fogarty of WA.; two grandsons Nick and Joe DeSantis; two nieces Kate Fogarty and Maeve and husband Daniel Jacobs; one nephew Jude Fogarty and his brother-in-law Lawrence Fogarty.
His funeral services will be held at a date and time in the future. A full obituary will appear at that time.
