Mr. Lawrence G. "Larry" Cellini age 89, of N. Utica passed away on Monday November 23, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital Center with his beloved family by his side.

He was born in Utica on September 16, 1926 a son of the late Americo and Helen DeGraff Cellini and was educated in local schools. On November 29, 1948 he was married to Marion D. Gaudin in Historic Old St. Johns Church a blessed union of 57 years until her passing on February 12, 2005. Larry proudly served our country during WW II in the US Navy.

Larry was in retail sales for many years having been employed with the Anderson Little Clothing Co., until his retirement. He was a member of the New Hartford American Legion Post # 1276.

Surviving are his beloved daughter Michele Mamrosh and Richard Jones of Whitesboro; his beloved son Brian Cellini of Utica; his cherished grandchildren Jeremy and Brandon Cellini; his in-laws Maland and Judy Gaudin, Leo Bienkowski, Maxine Morgan, and Lorraine Gaudin and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 pm until 5:30 pm at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home Inc. 1122 Culver Ave., Utica. Prayer Services will be at the conclusion of visitation at 5:30 pm at the funeral home with the Rev. John Buehler officiating. Private interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

The Amereican Legion Post # 1276 will assemble at the funeral home on Friday evening at 5:00 pm for ritual services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Larry.
