Lillian (Mango) Colangelo

Mrs. Lillian (Mango) Colangelo, age 75, of New Hartford, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday March 14, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital.

She was born in New Hartford, NY on December 28, 1937, a daughter of the late Rocco and Jean Britelli Mango and was educated in local schools, having graduated from UFA.

Lillian was a self-employed hairdresser having co-owned "Jean's Hairstylist" on South St. alongside her mother for many years. Upon her retirement, she became employed as a Monitor for ColumbusElementary School in Utica.

Lillian was a loving and devoted daughter, mother and grandmother, whose life centered around her family. They will forever hold her memory dear to their hearts. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten

Surviving are two loving daughters, Gina Marie Colangelo of New Hartford, and Carla Joyce Colangelo Rocci of Utica; one loving son, Richard Michael Colangelo of Syracuse; and two cherished granddaughters, Samantha Leigh Rocci and Savanna Rae Rocci.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family, with the Rev. Mark Kaminski officiating. Private interment will be in St.AgnesCemetery.
