Manuele M. (Scarano) Trevisani

Mrs. Manuele M. (Scarano) Trevisani, age 96, of Utica, entered into rest on Thursday March 24, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, with her devoted son Gene by her side, and with the love and support of her family.

She was born in Utica on May 21, 1925, a daughter of the late Donato and Madeline Garramone Scarano and was a graduate of TR Proctor High School. Manuele furthered her education and graduated from the Eastman School of Dental Hygiene in Rochester, NY in 1944 and became a Registered Dental Hygienist. On November 28, 1946, she was married to Pasquale “Pat” Trevisani in Mt. Carmel Church, a loving and blessed union of 27 years, until his untimely passing on February 1, 1973.

At the young age of 48 years old, Manuele found herself a widow with six young boys to nurture and provide for. She persevered through life with hard work and dedication and raised her children with never ending love and devotion. She was employed as a registered Dental Hygienist for many years with Dr. Mario Caruso DDS and Dr. Kenneth Gordon DDS, until her retirement.

Manuele was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother whose life centered around her family and education. They will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

Surviving are her six beloved sons and daughters-in-law Dr. Thomas Trevisani of Winter Park, FL, Donald and Launie Trevisani of Miami, FL, Eugene “Gene” Trevisani, J.D. of Oceanside, CA/Utica, NY (who cared for his mother enabling her to stay in her home), Dr. Michael and Paula Trevisani of Spring Hill, FL/Norwich, NY, Dr. Patrick and Livia Trevisani of Casselberry, FL and Dr. Jon and Marianne Trevisani of Winter Park, FL; her beloved grandchildren Thomas Trevisani, Jr., Sevilla and husband Billy Dees, Dante and wife Miriam Haskell-Trevisani, Marina Trevisani, Philip, Christopher, Michael Trevisani, Jon and wife Kiera Trevisani, Patrick Trevisani and her beloved great grandson, Rene; two sisters-in-law Arlene Trevisani and Anna Trevisani and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister Stella Latte.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday 4/1/22 at 10:00 am in Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church. Private interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 pm at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. Utica. In memory of Manuele, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
