Mr. Mark R. Klein, Sr. age 40 of Utica, passed away suddenly on Friday December 11, 2015 at home.

He was born on September 17, 1975 in New Hartford, NY a son of Roger Sr., and Elaine Merrick Klein and was educated in local schools, graduating from TR Proctor High School.

He was employed at Biogenic Dental Lab for the past 22 years as a dental technician. Mark was a true family oriented person and loved golfing with his father, brothers and nephews as well as spending time at the family camp at White Lake. He especially loved the Sunday family dinners at his mom and dad's house and was most comfortable in his sweat pants and Buffalo Bills Jersey. His greatest joy in life was the love and devotion he shared with his son Mark, Jr., who was the world to him.

Surviving are his beloved parents Roger Sr. and Elaine Klein; his loving fiancAC.e Andrea "Ange" Talarico; his cherished son Mark Robert Francis Klein, Jr.; his sister and husband Lori Lynn (Frank) Szkotak of NY Mills,; two brothers and wives Roger Jr. and Laurie Bello Klein of Herkimer and Michael Sr. and Cindy Strilka Klein of NY Mills; his niece Samantha Szkotak; nephews Nicholas (Christine), Roger III, Ross and Michael Jr.; his mother-in-law to be Melissa Piccione; sister-in-law and brother-in-law MaryRose and Joseph Abbott and their children Jalyssa, Joseph and Julian and several aunts, uncles and cousins and many dear friends, especially Nicholas and Dana Bridenbecker and sons. He also leaves his pet pig Rocky and dog Roxy.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4-8 pm at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. Utica. Funeral services will be at the conclusion of visitation at 8:00 pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Arthur Krawczenko officiating. Private interment will be in Carr Cemetery.
