Mary (Romano) Conte

Mrs. Mary (Romano) Conte, age 93, of Utica, passed away on Thursday June 18 , 2015 at the PinesNursingCenter, with her beloved family by her side.
She was born in Utica, on August 23, 1921 a daughter of the late Louis and Rose Perrone Romano, and was educated in local schools. She was joined in marriage to Angelo D. Conte on March 9, 1945 in St. Anthony Church, a blessed union of 40 years until his passing in 1985.

Surviving are her beloved son and daughter-in-law Richard and Jaclyn Conte of Utica; her cherished granddaughters Krystle, Nicole, Angelica and Isabella Conte; her beloved great grandchildren Alexandra and Victoria: three sisters and brothers-in-law Millie and Fritz Passante, Laura Jean and Russell Leone, and Rosemary and Todd Abraham, two brothers and a sister-in-law John (Lanny) Romano, and Louis (Junior) and Cathy Romano; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four brothers Albert, Peter, Frank and Vito Romano, and one sister Beatrice Gambino.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 12:15 pm from The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home, Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. and at 1:00 pm in St. Anthony/St. Agnes Church. Private interment will be in CalvaryCemetery.

Visiting hours will be Saturday morning from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
