Mary R. Daniels

Mrs. Mary R. (Assisi) Daniels, age 91, of Utica, passed away on Wednesday November 6, 2013 at The Sitrin Health Care Center with her beloved family by her side.

She was born in Utica on July 2, 1922, a daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie Maggiore Assisi, and was educated in local schools.

On April 6, 1942, she was joined in marriage to Alfred M. Daniels in Mt.CarmelChurch, a blessed union of 56 years, until his passing on March 29, 1998.

Mary was employed by Joseph & Feiss Co. for many years, until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Agnes Church.

Surviving are her beloved son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Sue (Zwir) Daniels of Utica; her cherished grandchildren, Thomas "Tom" and his wife Shelley Daniels and Derek Daniels and his fiancAC. Melissa Cardillo; her sister, Josephine Napoli of Utica; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, John Assisi.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 1:00pm in St. Anthony and St. Agnes Church. Private interment will be in St.AgnesCemetery. There will be no public visitation.

The family will receive visitors at the conclusion of mass in church.
