Nancy (Vizzacoro) Colacicco

Mrs. Nancy (Vizzacoro) Colacicco, age 88, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Friday March 20, 2015 at home, with her beloved husband by her side.

She was born on September 18, 1926 in Utica, a daughter of the late Patsy and Adeline (Lena) Trasatti Vizzacoro, and was educated in local schools.

On May 20, 1950 she was joined in marriage to Erminio A. Colacicco in St. Anthony of PaduaChurch, a blessed union of 64 years.

Nancy was employed for several years with the UticaCitySchool District, until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony/St. Agnes Church.

Surviving are her beloved husband Erminio; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dominick P. and Carole Colacicco of Cicero and Patrick J. and Maria Colacicco of CT.; two daughters and sons-in-law Nancy and Matthew Stellato of CA and Patricia (Tricia) and David Caruso of Utica; her dear sister, Matilda (Tillie) Ruben; her cherished grandchildren Nicholas and Sarah Colacicco, Ashley and David Cocquyt, Danielle Colacicco and fiancAC.e Matt Organek, Paul Colacicco, Alex Stellato and Geena Stellato; two cherished great-grandchildren Dominick Colacicco and Robert Colacicco born hours after Nancy's passing; her in-laws Rosa Kiesel, Joseph and Rosalie Colacicco, Phyllis Colacicco, Joanne Colacicco; one aunt Adeline (Lena) Rosato and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no public visitation.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11:30 am in St. Anthony/St. Agnes Church. Private interment will be in CalvaryCemetery.

The family will receive visitors at the conclusion of mass in church.

The family wishes to extend a special Thank You to all of Nancy's care givers over the years.
