Omer Smajkan, age 83, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Wynn Hospital.
He was born in Bosnia on November 18, 1941, and came to America in 1994.
Surviving is his wife Fatima, his son Omerico, two daughters Sajma and Elvedina, grandchildren and extended family.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 3:30 PM at the Bosnian Islamic Cemetery, Cosby Manor Rd., Deerfield.
Funeral arrangements under the guidance of Scala, Roefaro & Karboski Funeral Home, David Roefaro and Steve Karboski, directors.
