Paul A. Marose

Mr. Paul A. Marose, age 76, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023, in Las Vegas, NV, with the love of his family in his heart.

He was born on March 21, 1947, in Utica, a son of the late Peter and Nancy (Perrone) Marose and graduated from local schools. He served in the US Army Reserves at the Elihu Root Center, Burrstone Rd. for 6 years.

Paul was employed as the IT Director for Utica National Ins. Co. for many years, until his retirement. At one time Paul was married to Roberta Marrone and from that union came three loving children.

He is survived by his son, Anthony P. Marose of Las Vegas; two daughters and a son-in-law Nicole and Danny DeGeorge of Utica and Danielle Marose of Utica; his grandchildren, Michael (Andrea) DiNardo, Teressa DiNardo (Matthew Tennyson) and Dylan Dreimiller and fiancé Lindsay Serianni and his great-grandchildren, Mackenna and Maeve. He was predeceased by his devoted canine companion Justin.

Visitation will be on Monday evening May 15, from 4:30 – 6:00 pm at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. Funeral service prayers will be at the conclusion of visitation at 6:00 pm in the funeral home with the Rev. Tom Servatious officiating.  Private interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Paul’s name may be made to the Steven Swan Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the services.
