Paul J. Tobin, Sr

Mr. Paul J. Tobin, Sr., age 75 of Utica died Monday January 12, 2014 at the St. Luke's Home, with his beloved family by his side.

He was born in Rome, NY on April 27, 1938 a son of the late Francis and Paulina Norton Tobin and was educated locally. Paul was employed with the Kelly Foundry Co. for many years and also Roberts Hardware, until his retirement.

Surviving are his beloved children, Paula Tobin, Paul Tobin, Jr., Deborah and Jack Lane, Tammy and Kevin Godkins and Kathleen Tobin and friend Bill Sobel; her siblings, Francis Tobin, Tobias Tobin, Michael and wife Dale Tobin, Patrick and wife Joann Tobin and Joan Tobin and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was at one time married to Lillian Lawler. He was predeceased by one daughter Janet Bilodeau.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home, Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. Funeral services will be at the conclusion of visitation at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with the Rev. James Cesta officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family extends a special Thank You the staff of the St. Luke's Home for their care and compassion
