Paula N. (Cerminaro) Corriero

Mrs. Paula N. (Cerminaro) Corriero age 90, passed away on Wednesday March 1, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center with the love and support of her family.

She was born in Utica on July 25, 1926 a daughter of the late Pasquale and Genevieve Marano Cerminaro and was educated in local schools. On May 8, 1948, she was united in marriage to Patrick D. (Pat) Corriero in Mt. Carmel Church, a blessed union of 68 years. For many years, Paula worked alongside her husband Pat in their family business "Culver Flowers" until their retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony/St. Agnes Church.

A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Paula is survived by her husband Pat; one daughter and son-in-law Mary Corriero-Jones and husband Leonard Jones of Marcy; two sons and a daughter-in-law Daniel P. Corriero of Utica and Robert and Karen Corriero of Syracuse; her beloved grandchildren Lt. Daniel P. Corriero, Jr. USAF, Christopher Corriero, Avery Corriero, Anderson Corriero and Erica (Ray) Bushley; one sister and brother-in-law Jennie and Robert Joseph of Utica; her in-laws Jennie Gianotti, Molly Szuba, Josephine and Howard McDermott and Michael Curriere and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several sisters and brothers.

There will be no public visitation.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday morning at 10:30 am in St. Anthony/St. Agnes Church. The family will greet visitors at the conclusion of mass in church. Private interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
