Regina L. Alessandrini

Regina L. Alessandrini age 61, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at the MVHS Rehabilitation and Nursing Center with her loving family by her side, after a courageous five-year battle with cancer.

She was born on April 14, 1962, in Utica, a daughter of Roseann Scalzo and the late Robert A. Alessandrini. Regina attended Whitesboro High School and would go on to work at various shops in the Central New York Area.

She is survived by her children, Crystal Seifried and Matthew Seifried; her mother, Roseann Alessandrini; her sisters, Renee Alessandrini, Rosetta (Michael) Emma and Roxann (Jeremi Martin) Alessandrini-Nitti; brother, Robert Jr. (Stacey) Alessandrini, twin brother, Russell Alessandrini; six grandchildren; Alexis, Anthony, Jayden, Jordyn, Abel and Chase, one great-granddaughter Rosina as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved companion Coco. 

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 4 PM- 6 PM at the Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home 1122 Culver Ave, Utica. Funeral services will commence immediately following visitation at 6 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Regina’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. 

Regina’s family would like to thank her aunt, Andrea Scalzo for the care and compassion shown throughout the past five-years, she was there every step of the way.
