Richard "Ike" Alpaugh

Mr. Richard "Ike" Alpaugh, age 64 of New Hartford, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital.

He was born on June 18, 1948 in Cooperstown, NY, a son of Delos Richard Alpaugh, Jr. and the late Cynthia Morton Alpaugh, and a graduate of OswegoHigh School.

Ike was employed by Farington Packaging Co. in Utica as a Technical Supervisor for many years, until his retirement.

Surviving are his father, D. Richard Alpaugh, Jr. of Guilford, NY; one loving son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Deanna (DePalma) Alpaugh of New Hartford; two loving daughters, Nicole Sherman of PA, and Natalie Alpaugh of Binghamton, NY;; four cherished grandchildren, Christian, Allie, Nathan and Alyssa; one sister, Cynthia Barber of Williamson, NY. He also leaves his wife Brenda Alpaugh and her children, Marsha, Trish, Mercedes and Makayla.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday evening from 4 - 6 p.m. at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home, Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. Funeral services will be immediately following visiting hours at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Anthony LaFache officiating.
