Mr. Robert R Gerace, age 28, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday November 26, 2015 at home.

He was born in Utica, on November 2, 1987 a son of Attorney Donald R. and Donna L. Wuest Gerace and was educated in local schools having graduated from TR Proctor High School. Rob was also a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology where he received his degree in both mechanical and electrical engineering.

Robert was employed as an engineer with the Electronic Theatre Controls Co. of Victor, NY.

Rob was an avid and expert snow and water skier. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time with his family in the Adirondacks. He had a special passion for cooking and just enjoying his leisure time with family and friends. A loving and devoted son and brother, he will forever live in the hearts of his beloved family.

Surviving are his beloved parents Attorney Donald R. and Donna L. Gerace of Utica; his beloved brother and sister-in-law Patrick and Jacquelyn Gerace of FL. and his beloved sister Sarah J. Gerace of Utica; his maternal grandparents Jean Frichtel and James L. Wuest, Sr.; his loving fiancee Nichole Su of Farmington, NY and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Pasquale and Sarah Gerace.

There will be no public visitation.

The family will gather in a private ceremony to honor Roberts Life, with the Rev. Joseph Salerno, officiating. Private entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
