Robert A. Williams, Jr.

Mr. Robert A. Williams, Jr., age 71, of Marcy, NY passed away on Tuesday February 2, 2021 at the Presbyterian Home with love and support of his family, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Dementia.

He was born in Utica on November 2, 1949 a son of Eleanor Hahn Williams and the late Robert A. Williams, Sr. He was a graduate of Whitesboro Schools and Canton College with an Associate Degree in Business. Robert was employed for many years with the Town of Marcy Highway Dept. until his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman and was a member of the Ilion Fish and Game Club. His love of hard work would never go unnoticed, especially on the beloved farm where he spent his entire life. “Bobby” was an extremely talented man, who put his heart and soul into everything he did.

Surviving are his mother Eleanor, his son Ryan R. Williams of Marcy; his daughter and son-in-law Tara and Kevin Brabant of NJ; one beloved grandson Chase Robert Brabant; one sister and brother-in-law Linda and Richard Robinson; two brothers and sisters-in-law David and Gail Williams and Michael and Margaret Williams and several nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his father Robert Sr. and his brother Charles Williams.

His family will honor his memory at a private time. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Robert. Please keep Robert in your thoughts and prayers.
