Rocco DiNigro

Mr. Rocco DiNigro, age 93, of Utica, passed away on Sunday September 13, 2015 at the Masonic Care Community.

He was born on April 20, 1922 in Utica, a son of the late Pasquale and Catherine Grieco DiNigro, and was educated in local schools. Rocco proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army. He was a parishioner of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church.

Rocco was employed at Sears and Roebuck Co. for 30 years in the Furniture Repair Dept., until his retirement.

Surviving are his beloved sister, Rita Miosi; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Marie Chambrone, Irene DiNigro, Helen Gaetano, Joseph DiNigro, and Anthony DiNigro.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Mt. Carmel/Blessed SacramentChurch. Private interment will be in ForestHillCemetery.

There will be no public visiting hours.

The family will greet visitors at the conclusion of Mass in church.
