Rosalie E. (Esposito) Bankert

Mrs. Rosalie E. (Esposito) Bankert, age 81, of Utica, passed away on Monday December 17, 2012 at the Sitrin Health Care Center. She was born in Utica, on April 20, 1931, a daughter of the late Samuel J. and Adeline D'Angelo Esposito. She was educated locally, having been a graduate of T.R. Proctor High School. On January 9, 1965, she was united in marriage to Albert F. Bankert, a blessed union of 24 years, until his passing October 23, 1989. Rosalie was employed with the Travelers Insurance Co. for many years until her retirement. She was a parishioner of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church. Surviving are one brother and two sisters-in-law, Andre J. and Marilyn Esposito of New Hartford and Judy Esposito of Rochester: her loving nieces and nephews, Lynn Esposito, Andre C. and Tracy Esposito, Mark and Christine Esposito, and Carla Esposito; six great-nieces; and several cousins and Godchildren. She was predeceased by one brother Ronald Esposito. There will be no public visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church. Private interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the conclusion of mass in church. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of the Mulberry House at Sitrin Health Care Center for their care and compassion.
