Rosemary Lewis

Miss Rosemary Lewis, age 84, of Utica passed away unexpectedly on Friday November 28, 2014 at St. Luke's HospitalCenter, with her beloved family by her side.

She was born in Utica on December 10, 1929 a daughter of the late Shafie and Hazel Shahoud Lewis and was educated in local schools.

Rosemary was a loving and devoted sister and aunt, who will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Surviving are one sister Shirley Lewis of New Hartford; one brother Thomas Lewis of Utica; two sisters-in-law Ermalinda Lewis and Kate Lewis and several loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister Jennie Lewis and four brothers Louis, Kenneth, Edward and Gerald Lewis and one nephew Richard Lewis.

In keeping with Rosemary's wishes, there will be no public visitation.

Her family will gather in a private ceremony to celebrate her life in prayer.
