It is with profound sadness that the family of Ryan Abdelaal announce his unexpected passing on Wednesday May 31, 2023, at the age of 34, from complications due to lifelong hypertension.
Ryan was born in Easton, PA on August 6, 1988, and was a graduate of Whitesboro High School, Class of 2006. He attended Mohawk Valley Community College. Following his passions, he sought a paid internship at Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare in Utica, NY, as a computer technician.
He was the best son to his surviving father, Mahmoud Abdelaal, and late mother, Kathryn Abdelaal. He is survived by his two sisters, Zainep and Farrah Abdelaal. There was no better brother than Ryan. Also surviving are his several beloved family members and friends. He cherished his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Everyone who knew him knew he was the most kind hearted man. He was thoughtful, humorous, resilient, selfless, and intelligent. He touched the hearts of everyone he met. He enjoyed spending time with family, gaming, playing basketball, shopping, travelling, cooking, and was a movie enthusiast. There was no one like our Ryan, our paradise.
May Allah SWT grant him the highest place in Jannah and give Sabr to his family and friends, Ameen.
His viewing will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023, at 10:00am to 10:30am at Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home at 1122 Culver Avenue, Utica, NY. Following the viewing, graveside services will be held at 11:00am in the Bosnian Islamic Cemetery, Cosby Manor Road, Deerfield, NY.
