Thomas "Tom" L. Fox

Mr. Thomas L. "Tom" Fox, age 54 of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

He was born November 30, 1958, in Rome, NY, the son of the late Frank H. and Anna R. Joslyn Fox. He was educated in Oneida and VVSSchool systems.

On July 4, 1982, he was joined in marriage to Elizabeth Ann Warner in SylvanBeach, a blessed union of 30 years.

Tom was Head of Maintenance for Chicago Markets and Great American Market for many years. He volunteered with dedication for the Salvation Army Center for several years and he was an avid NY Giants and Yankees fan.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Elizabeth Ann; two loving daughters and sons-in-law, Bette and David Lanpher of Rome, NY and Mary and Alan Simon of Morrisville, NY; three grandchildren, Christopher, Ashley and Robert; father-in-law, Russell Warner; one sister, Joanna Sasenbury, one brother, James Fox, one sister-in-law, Ann Ricca; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Linda Fox; one brother, David Fox; and his mother-in-law Ann Warner.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home, Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. His funeral service will be at the conclusion of visiting hours at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Anthony LaFache officiating. Private interment will be in ForestHillCemetery.
