The Scala Funeral Home was founded in 1911 by Carmine Scala and has served the Utica Area with three generations of the Scala Family. In 1984, the company expanded and became known as The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home Inc. with David R. Roefaro as President. We are a family-owned and operated business, with daily operations run by David Roefaro and his family. We are located in a pleasant section of Southeast Utica, adjacent to beautiful Proctor Park, at 1122 Culver Avenue.

We take pride in the fact that we offer personal meaningful services to celebrate the life of your loved one. Our caring and dedicated staff are here to help you, not only during the funeral but after the funeral as well. We have services to fit every belief, religion, race and financial need.
